While the reasoning behind why ancient Chinese acupuncture works still baffles many scientists, the basic understanding is that stimulating acupuncture points on different parts of the body leads to the production of enkephalins and endorphins.
These are the body’s natural pain killers and far more potent than any prescription drug.
Ancient Chinese acupuncture is known to stimulate the immune system, relax muscles, and reduce inflammation. It helps to improve energy flow and it works since all of the major organs in the body depend on natural electricity in order to function.
It can be effective in treating a variety of different conditions including obesity, arthritis, menstrual cramps, back ache, injury, and more.
Ancient Chinese acupuncture is essentially the same as modern acupuncture except now acupuncturists combine acupuncture with other treatments to enhance effectiveness. For example, electro-acupuncture consists of applying pulsating electrical currents to acupuncture needles to further stimulate the acupuncture points.
Laser acupuncture consists of applying a laser beam to acupuncture points instead of needles.
