According to ear acupuncture charts, once the needle is inserted about two millimeters into the skin of the ear, then the needle should be gently rolled between the fingers so that is spins in that spot. It should be twirled as fast as the patient is able to endure in that area.
The needle should be moved in a circle so that all of the pain that is affecting that area can be gotten out of the system.
